HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College men's soccer team will square off against the visiting Shaw University Bears on Saturday (Sept. 9) at 2:30 p.m. in a non-conference matchup. Live stats and video will be available at www.cokercobras.com.
Jacob Simonis leads the Cobras offensively with two shots, while Joao Silva and Matt Trimby have both fired one shot each on goal. Goalkeeper Justin Walker has collected one save between the pipes in 90 minutes.
The Bears head into tomorrow's match with a 0-0-1 record, as they played to a 1-1 draw with Emmanuel (Ga.) on Sept. 1.
As mentioned, opening kick is set for 2:30 p.m. at the Coker College Athletic Field. Tickets for the match are $5 for adults, $3 for students, and free to all Coker faculty, staff, and students.
