Bundy Takes Third at Pirate Invitational, Leads Cobras to Sixth Place Finish

SAVANNAH, Ga. – Coker men's golfer Will Bundy signed off on an even par 72 in his final round of play at the Pirate Invitational on Tuesday (Feb. 23) to take home third place overall. As a team the Cobras placed sixth after firing a score of 299 (+11) in the third and final round. Coker carded a three-round total of 894 (+30) for the tournament.

Bundy finished the three-round event at three-under-par with a 213. Following close behind was Wanjoo Lee at 225 (+9) in a tie for 27th place. The freshman closed out the tournament with a 73 in the final round. Ethan Cairns finished in a tie for 36th place after shooting 79 in the last round for a 229 (+13) total. Jonathan Sundstrom carded an 80 in the final round of play, while John Duke fired a 75 on the last day to round out the Cobra golfers.

Flagler College took home the team championship and West Georgia's Barrett Waters took home medalist honors.

The Cobras will return to the links March 13 when they travel to Monroe, N.C. to take part in the Wingate Invitational.
