Cobras and Trojans Duel in Homecoming SAC Showdown

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College men's basketball team is back at home on Saturday (Feb. 6) to take on the visiting Anderson University Trojans in a homecoming SAC matchup. Opening tip is set for 4 p.m. with live stats and video available at www.cokercobras.com

The Cobras will be looking for a repeat of last season's 80-65 home win.

Donte Samuels leads the Navy and Gold with a team-high 15.7 points per game on nearly 45 percent shooting from the field, while pulling down 5.5 rebounds per contest. Trey Marshall comes in averaging 11.3 points, while Aubrey Daniel is chipping in 9.9 points per game. Defensively, the Cobras are allowing a league-low 71.6 points per game. Individually, Trey James is pulling down a team-high 7.7 rebounds, while Jalen Watson is averaging 6.1 rebounds per contest.

The Trojans travel to Hartsville with a 5-16 overall record and a 3-12 in conference record. They are led by Randall Shaw and his 19.1 points per game.

Tip-off is slated for 4:00 p.m. at the DeLoach Center on Saturday (Feb. 6). Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for students and free to all Coker faculty, staff and students. Homecoming festivities will take place during halftime of the men's game.
