Coker and St. Andrews to Square Off on Saturday

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker men's basketball team returns to the court for their final home game of 2012 on Saturday (Dec. 29) against the Knights of St. Andrews in a non-conference game. Tip-off is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Coker's Timberlake-Lawton Gymnasium. The game will be broadcast live online at www.cokercobras.com.

The Cobras are coming off an 83-73 win over Mount Olive on Dec. 15. Not only was the victory, Coker's first against the Trojans since 2002, it also marked the third win in the last four games for the Cobras. Senior Sharod Williams recorded his second double-double of the season with 20 points and 14 rebounds, while junior Julian Nelson chipped in 16 points and senior Andrew Morris added 12 points in the win.

St. Andrews enters the game with a record of 0-9, having lost their most recent game to Pikeville University 112-63. Clavontae Brown is the Knight's leading scorer, averaging 16 points per game.
