HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker baseball will travel to the South Atlantic Conference Baseball Championship for their first round game with sixth-seeded Wingate on Thursday (April 28).

The seventh-seeded Cobras come into the tournament 28-19 with a 12-12 record within the conference. Will Winslow's .386 batting average leads the team and is fifth best in the conference. Dallas Baldwin is fresh off of his fourth consecutive complete game and owns a 2.77 earned run average, the second best mark in the conference. AJ Strnad also leads the South Atlantic Conference with 28 stolen bases. 

Wingate is the No. 6 seed in the tournament, coming in 28-20 with a South Atlantic Conference record of 12-12. They are led offensively by Shane Billings who is leading the conference with a .439 batting average. The Cobras did not play the Bulldogs during the regular season.
