
Men Take Third, Women Seventh at Bulldog Stampede
The men had three runners in the top 20 while the women had one in the top 20.

WINGATE, N.C.- The Coker cross country teams competed at the Bulldog Invitational on Saturday (Sept. 24) at Wingate University, with the men taking third place and the women finishing seventh.
Jacob Chebii led the charge finishing sixth in 27:50.66, while Brandon Mullins took 13th in 28:48.23. Razzel Kiplaget rounded out Coker's top 20 finishing 15th in 29:32.95. Will Mosely collected a top 30 finish (21st, 31:19.75) along with Luke Elliott (23rd, 31:49.37). Jordan Bishop (24th, 32:02.36) and James Gregory (26th, 34:06.40) rounded out the race for the Navy and Gold.
On the women's side, Darroneshia Lott paced the Cobras finishing sixth in 23:15.84. Breanna Sullivan finished 36th in 28:29.81, while Tiffany Taylor took 42nd in 29:26.18. Angie Flores finished 50th in 30:51.17, while Da'Sha Jobes finished 59th in 36:46.51.
The Cobras will run again next Saturday (Oct. 1) at the Great American XC Festival in Cary, N.C. The race is slated for a 9:30 a.m. start.
