2015-2016: Cook had an outstanding sophomore year for the Navy and Yellow. His best finishes were second at the two-mile USC Open (Sept. 23, 10:34) and third at the FMU Invitational (Oct. 16, 16:32). Cook also finished 24th at the South Atlantic Conference Championships (Oct. 24) with a time of 26:59.

2014-15: Cook had an outstanding freshman year for the Navy and Yellow. He ran in all seven races during the season, recording five top-25 finishes. His best 8k time came at the Great American Cross Country Festival where he ran a time of 26:44 and finished in seventh place. His best 5k time was 16:17 which he ran at the Francis Marion Invitational and finished in the runner-up spot. His time of 16:17 was also good enough for a new Coker men's cross country 5k record.

High School: A four-sport athlete at Mapleton High School, Cook lettered in cross country, basketball, wrestling and track. As a cross country runner he was a four-time all-area and four-time all-area runner. He was named the Times Gazette Runner of the Year and was a two-time state qualifier. In track he was a state qualifier, a three-time all-area and three-time all-conference selection.

Personal: Son of Barbara and Martin Cook...he has six siblings; Sarah, Claire, Audra, Emily, Danielle and Hannah....sister Hannah is a member of the Coker women's cross country and track and field teams.
