
Bates, Cook Lead Cobras at Bridgestone-Pacer Invitational
Dylan Bates and Hannah Cook led their teams once again to another first place individual finish at the Bridgestone-Pacer Invitational.
AIKEN, S.C. – Dylan Bates and Hannah Cook both finished first for the Cobras this Friday (Oct. 4) at the Bridgestone-Pacer Invitational hosted by USC Aiken.
Bates ran the 8K race in a time of 30:10, which was good enough for an eighth place individual finish and a second place finish for the team. Fabian Hardy was next for Coker with a time of 32:46, followed by Britian Tomlinson with a time of 34:00. Tre' Williams and Patrick Tyler completed the field for the Cobras with times of 37:03 and 37:05.
Cook paced the Cobras in the 5K race with a time of 21:14. Naomi Watson finished next with a time of 23:38, followed by Taylor Hall and Ashley Thompkins who finished with times of 25:41 and 26:35, respectively.
Coker will next travel to Charlotte, N.C., to compete in the Queens University Royals Challenge on October 11th.
