Women’s Cross Country Adds Cook

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College cross country coach Vic Finora announced today the addition of Hannah Cook for the 2013-14 academic year.

Cook is transferring to Coker from Lorain County Community College in Ohio. There she ran cross country and played basketball. In cross country, she was a first team National Junior College Athletic Association Division II All-American selection this season.

"I am very excited that Hannah is joining the Cobra family," Finora said. "She is an extremely accomplished runner and a proven winner on the college level. She was a first team All-American last year and will come in and make a major impact for us right away. She is a tremendous addition to our program."

Cook attended Mapleton High School in Ashland, Ohio. She was a three-sport athlete in cross country, track and field and basketball for the Mounties.

Originally from Nova, Ohio, Hannah is the daughter of Martin and Barbara Cook.
