GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Coker women’s cross country team placed second at the Guilford College Invitational behind the University of North Carolina Greensboro thanks to a three top 10 individual finishes by Lady Cobra runners.

Senior Kendyl Seawright (Manalapan, N.J.) led the way with a third place finish (20:26), followed by Ashlyn Barnwell’s (York, S.C.) eighth place finish (22:27) and Alex Ochoa (Pamoplico, S.C.) placed tenth. Rounding out the Coker runners were Caitlyn Driscoll (Grand Island, N.Y.)  in 13th and Angela Williams (Johnston, S.C.) in 30th place.

The Coker runners will take to the trails again on Saturday, Sept. 18, when they travel to Lumberton, N.C. to run in the UNC-Pembroke Invitational.
