Wingate, NC- On Saturday, the Coker College Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Teams Competed in the Pre- Region meet at Wingate University, with the men placing fifth out of 14 teams and the women placing 11th out of 16 teams.
In the men’s race, David Green was the top finisher for the Cobras, coming in at 34:31 in sixth place. He was followed by Nathan Hansen coming in at 36:04 in the 14th position, and then Sam Githinji finished in 17th with a time of 36:18. Tyler Carroll was next in line for Coker with a time of 36:42, followed by Adam Green and Michael Koshis at 39:53 and 43:04 respectively. Kevin Ganiel was unable finish the race due to stomach virus.
