Orlando, FL- On Saturday, October 8, the Coker College Cross Country Teams competed in the Disney Cross Country Classic in Orlando, FL. The meet brought together some of the top teams in the nation in all divisions. As for the Cobras, the men finished 14th of 40 teams and the women did not have enough runners finish the race in order to place as a team.

For the Coker Women only three runners were able to complete the race, Noelle Sharbono/Pembroke Pines, FL, Shannon Townley/Anniston, AL and Elizabeth Cox/N. Myrtle Beach, SC. Sharbono finished with a time of 23:32, followed by Townley at 24:29 and finally Cox at 28:02.

The next meet for the Cobras Cross Country Teams will be on Friday, October 21. They will both compete in the CVAC Conference Championships at Anderson College.
