Lexi Smith was a college athlete who played volleyball at Wheeling University from 2018-2022. She was part of the team when the university was known as Wheeling Jesuit University. During her time at Wheeling, Lexi achieved several accomplishments in her volleyball career, including being a 5-time MEC Champion, making 4 NCAA Regional appearances, and making 1 NCAA National appearance. She was also recognized for her academic achievements, being named to the MEC commissioner's honor roll and Academic ALL-MEC. Additionally, Lexi received MEC Honorable Mention and was named to the MEC all-tournament team twice. Before college, Lexi played volleyball at Notre Dame High School in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was a standout player, earning the title of District and Conference Player of the Year three times. Lexi also participated in basketball and track, where she was named conference player of the year in basketball and athlete of the year in track. She was an honors student and won the Art Show three times.
