Harris Twins Sign to Play Volleyball

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College announced today that twin sisters Amanda and Emily Harris have signed national letters of intent to play women's volleyball at Coker. They will join the team beginning in the 2013-14 academic year.

The Harris twins hail from Zephyr Cove, Nev., where they attend George Whittell High School.

Amanda is a three-sport athlete in volleyball, basketball and softball. In volleyball, she was a two-time all-state player, all-league selection, league MVP and a Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association top 10 student-athlete of the year.

Emily is also a three-sport athlete in volleyball, basketball and softball. A three-year letterwinner in volleyball, Emily made first team all-league selection as a senior and was an all-league honorable mention selection as a junior.

Amanda and Emily are the daughters of Mike and Suzanne Harris.
