Volleyball Ready to Take on Conference Opponents this Weekend
The Coker women's volleyball team will host King College and North Greenville University in a Conference Carolinas double-header this weekend.
HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker women's volleyball team will play host to a pair of Conference Carolinas matches this weekend. Both matches will be video-streamed live at www.cokercobras.com.
The Cobras will host King College on Friday (September 28) at 7:00 p.m. King is 11-5 overall and 5-0 in conference play. The volleyball action doesn't stop there, as on Saturday (September 29) at 2:00 p.m., the Cobras will take on North Greenville University. The Crusaders are 7-9 overall and 1-3 in Conference Carolinas matchups.
Coker is looking to bounce back from a tough 3-0 loss at Belmont Abbey. The Cobras are 3-2 in conference play and 1-1 at home in the Timberlake-Lawton Gymnasium. In their last five matches the Cobras are 3-2. Prior to the loss against Belmont Abbey, Coker had won back-to-back matches against Mount Olive and Barton.
