Spartanburg, SC- In what could be one of the biggest volleyball matches of the Coker Volleyball Team’s year, the Cobras made an outstanding 3-2 come from behind win at Converse College. Coker lost eh first two games of the match 30-22 and 30-23 and then went on to win the next three games, 30-24, 30-26 and 15-12 to take the match victory.

 

Leading the way was Margaret Madison with a dominating 24 kills and three aces. Megan Haupt was next with 17 kills, while Natalie Schembra had 10 kills. Tara Nelson had 46 assists and 17 digs and Kelsey Carlson had 24 digs and six aces.

 

The Cobras will now prepare for their next match on Tuesday, October 3, as they travel to Belmont Abbey at 6:30 p.m.
