Coker Notches Three Top Ten Showings at USC Indoor Open

COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Coker College women's track and field team had a solid showing in the team's season opener at the USC Gamecock Indoor Open. The Cobras earned three top-10 finishes on the day.

Charity Snelling led the way, picking up a fourth place finish in the women's high jump after posting 1.57 meters. Da'Sha Jobes and Talicia Murphy finished in the top-10 in the women's long jump. Jobes came in seventh at 4.83 meters, while Murphy came in ninth at 4.75 meters. Rickii Banks also competed in the long jump, coming in 15th at 4.46 meters. In the shot put, Tamara McMichael placed 12th and Keyosha Booker finished in 14th.

The Cobras will be back in action on Sunday (Jan. 24) when they travel to the Winston Salem 6-way.
