Coker's Season Comes to an End with 5-0 Loss to Erskine

SUMTER, S.C. – The No. 8 seeded Coker women's tennis team lost to the top-seeded Erskine Flying Fleet, 5-0 on Friday (Apr. 19) in the quarterfinals of the 2013 Conference Carolinas women's tennis tournament.

The Cobras fell behind 3-0 after the doubles portion of the match. Then a pair of 6-0, 6-1 losses at No. 5 and No. 6 singles secured the 5-0 Erskine win.

With the loss the Cobras' season comes to an end. They finish with an overall record of 7-14 and a record of 4-7 in league play. All but one member of the team, senior Brittanny Yando, will be back next season, including all-conference selections Daniela Chipe and Jessi Campos.
