Chipe and Campos Named All-Conference

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College women's tennis players Daniela Chipe and Jessi Campos were named to the Conference Carolinas all-conference teams today.

Chipe, a freshman, was named to the second team. She was 11-9 in singles play this season. Chipe is a business administration major at Coker. Originally form Guayaquil, Ecuador, she is the daughter of Rodolfo and Julia Flor de Chipe.

Campos, who was a third-team selection, put together a 9-8 record in singles. She is a physical education and sport studies major with a concentration in physical fitness programming. Campos is a native of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and is the daughter of Patti Campos.

The women's team went 7-13 overall and 4-7 in conference play. It enters the postseason tournament as the eighth seed.
