HARTSVILLE, S.C.  – The Coker women's tennis team suffered a tough 8-1 loss to UNC Pembroke on Thursday (Mar. 21) afternoon.

Daniela Chipe and Jessi Campos picked up the lone victory for the Cobras. The duo won their match at No. 1 doubles, defeating the Braves tandem 8-6. Chipe came up just short in her singles match, falling in three-sets at No. 1 singles.

The Cobras will be back in action on Saturday (Mar. 23) against Conference Carolinas rival Mount Olive. The men's and women's matches will begin at 1 p.m. at the Coker Tennis Courts.
