HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker women's tennis team captured their third consecutive victory and improved to 4-0 in Conference Carolinas play with an 8-1 win over Converse College on Monday afternoon.

Alyssa Blanchard (Columbia, S.C.), Cora Berna (Spain) and Stephanie Medley (Sumter, S.C.) all had perfect matches winning both their singles and doubles matches.

Blanchard and Medley had a nearly flawless 8-1 victory at No. 1 doubles, while Berna and partner Kayla Meermans (Pelion, S.C.) picked up a 9-7 victory at No. 2 doubles.

Then in singles play Blanchard and Berna each had 6-4, 6-1 victories at No. 1 and No. 2 respectively with Medley earning a 6-0, 2-6, 12-10 win at No. 3.

The Cobra women will return to action on Friday when they travel to Wingate University for a 11 a.m. match against the Bulldogs.
