PEMBROKE, N.C. – Alyssa Blanchard (Columbia, S.C.), Cora Berna (Spain) and Stephanie Medley (Sumter, S.C.) each had a perfect match, winning both their singles and doubles matches in the Coker women's tennis team's 5-4 win over UNC Pembroke.

Blanchard and Medley won their No. 1 doubles match 8-3, while Berna and partner Kayla Meermans (Pelion, S.C.) got the win at No. 2 doubles, 8-6.

In singles play all three women won in straight sets. Blachard won at No. 1 singles with scores of 6-3, 6-4 with Berna winning 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2 singles. Picking up the third singles win of the match, giving the Cobras the team victory was Medley at No. 3 with scores of 7-5, 6-1.

The Cobras will be back on the court on Saturday at Francis Marion for a 2 p.m. match.
