Misenheimer, NC- The Lady Cobras fell to 0-6 on the year as they were defeated by the Falcon’s of Pfeiffer University by a score of 7-2 in Misenheimer, NC on Wednesday afternoon. The Falcons jumped out early to take control of the match as they won two out of the three doubles point’s. Rachel Lemar (London, England) and Jill Smith (Concord, NC) picked up the lone doubles victory by a score of 8-3

In singles, the Falcon’s continued to soar as they posted five wins out of a possible six singles matches. Ashley Pace (Clinton, SC) was able to fight off a 1st set loss, and battle back to win in a third set tiebreaker by a score of 2-6, 7-5, (10-7).

The Lady Cobras will now have a week off for spring break and will return March 11th, as they travel to take on division one opponent Charleston Southern.
