Hartsville, SC- The Lady Cobras played against Methodist University Yesterday at 3pm. The doubles was first on the agenda for the day. Methodist dominated the doubles matches and went up 3-0. Jill Smith and Rachel Lemar started off slowly and went down 6-1. However they played hard to fight back to 6-6. Methodist stepped up there level and played a solid couple of games to win the match 8-6.

 

The singles matches were also close as the lady Cobras battled away against Methodist. The Cobras did manage to win at number 6 singles as Lindsay Crighton played solid tennis to beat Michelle Denmark 5-7, 7-5 10-7.

 

This result takes the lady Cobras to 3-3 on the year and they play Lees-McRae College Sunday, at 1pm.
