Hartsville, SC- Head Men’s and Women’s Tennis Coach, Alvin Cheng announced the signing of two players to National Letters of Intent to play tennis at Coker for the fall of 2006. James Schroeder will join the men’s team, while Lindsey Crighton will join the women.

Crighton comes to Coker from just down the road in Florence, SC. She was a four year varsity tennis letterman and team captain for Florence Christian School, as well as a two year cheerleading letterman. Crighton was a four member of the SCISA Region Championship team, has a 4.83 GPA, is a member of the Beta Club and is listed in Who’s Who among American High School Students.

According to Crighton, “I am excited about attending Coker because of its academic excellence, its athletic opportunities, and its friendly atmosphere. I am also looking forward to the many opportunities I will have in the classroom, as well as on the tennis court.”
