HARTSVILLE, SC — Coker’s women’s tennis team swept visiting Columbia College Wednesday afternoon by a score of 9-0.  The women improve to 4-7 as they prepare for their spring break trip to Florida.

The Cobras took the three doubles matches by scores of 8-1, 8-3, and 8-0.  In singles play, Andrea Santos lost her first set 5-7 but battled back to win 6-3 in the second and took the super tie-breaker 10-4.  Coker proved to be especially strong at the bottom of the lineup, with Ashley Pace (6-2, 6-0), Jill Smith (6-1, 6-0), and Leilani Alontaga (6-0, 6-0) all breezing to victory.
