Cobras End Three Game Home Stand with Bulldogs

HARTSVILLE S.C. – The Coker women's soccer team will conclude their three-match home stand on Wednesday (Oct. 9) against the Bulldogs of Wingate University at the Coker Soccer Field. The match is slated for a 4:30 p.m. kick-off and will be broadcast live online at www.cokercobras.com.

The Cobras are coming off a 2-1 nail-biting loss to Catawba College and look to get back on track against the Bulldogs. Continuing to lead the Coker offense is sophomore Jalynn Fortt and freshman Jordan Roy who have both tallied two goals on the season.

Wingate is coming off a 2-0 victory over Mars Hill University and are 6-1-3 overall with a 3-1-1 SAC record. Jade Montgomery's seven goals and four assists leads the attack for the Bulldogs.

Tickets for the match are $5 for adults, $3 for students and free to all Coker faculty, staff and students. Coker will also be hosting Hartsville High Night. Hartsville High students, faculty, and staff will be admitted free with proper identification.
