Cobra Women's Soccer Adds Two for 2012

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College head women's soccer coach Dan Muns is pleased to announce the addition of a pair of defenders for the fall 2012 season, Bree Morgan and Sarina Way.

Morgan comes to Coker from Lancaster, S.C. where she is a standout two-sport athlete at Andrew Jackson High School. A member of the swimming and soccer teams, Morgan was named MVP of the swim team and received the "Most Improved" award on the soccer team. She is a member of the Beta Club and has been a member of the Honor Roll every year of high school.

Way is a native Myrtle Beach, S.C., joining the Cobras from St. James High School. A three-time team captain for the Sharks, Way is also a member Banyana United FC. A three-time captain for Banyana, she helped lead her team to three Carolina Cup Tournament championships. She is a member of the National Honor Society.

According to Muns, "Bree is a tough competitor that works very hard and loves the game. While, Sarina is a naturally left-sided defender that is an extremely versatile soccer player."

The Cobra women will continue their off-season workouts through the rest of the spring semester and begin their 2012 fall season in September.
