BELMONT, N.C. - The Coker women’s soccer team fell to the nationally ranked #24 Belmont Abbey Crusaders 6-0 on Saturday afternoon at Alumni Field in the Conference Carolinas opener for both teams.

Belmont Abbey scored their six goals on eight shots, with two goals come off Coker players thanks to unfortunate miscues.

Coker goalkeeper Carrie Hudnell (Goose Creek, S.C.) recorded one save in the match, while Coker’s offense was held shot less during the 90 minute match.

The Lady Cobras return to action on Monday, when they travel to Laurinburg, N.C. to take on St. Andrews Presbyterian College in a Conference Carolinas match at 2:00 p.m.
