Wrestling Has Four Named NWCA Division II Scholar All-American

MANHEIM, Pa. - The Coker University wrestling team finished ranked first in Super Region II and twelfth nationally in the Division II National Wrestling Coaches Association Scholar All-American program announced by the association on Friday (Apr 15). The Cobras also had four wrestlers (Corey Gallivan, Stephen Spitko, Deven Holland, and P.J. Wunderlich) named to the Scholar All-American team as individuals. The wrestling team finished with a cumulative team GPA of 3.290.

Gallivan, a freshman from Cutler Bay, Fla., is the son of Elizabeth and Timothy Gallivan and is majoring in criminology. 

Spitko, a freshman from Douglassville, Pa., is the son of Kevin and Lesley Spitko and is majoring in business administration.

Holland, a junior from Wiesbaden, Germany, is the son of Cindy and Sean Holland and is majoring in criminology.

Wunderlich, a senior from Myrtle Beach, S.C., is the son of Angela and Patrick Wunderlich and will graduate this semester with a degree in history pre-law.
