Cobras End Season at Super Region II Championships
The Coker wrestling team saw four members move on to day two of the Super Region II Championships: Matthew Kieta, Ian Maund, Luis Peguero, and Robert Parland.
FINDLAY, OHIO- The Coker wrestling team saw four members move on to day two of the Super Region II Championships: Matthew Kieta, Ian Maund, Luis Peguero, and Robert Parland.
Luis Peguero was the lone Cobra to earn a victory on the day. He defeated No. 10 ranked wrestler from Tiffin in the fifth place match. Two of his losses on the day were to the No. 9 wrestler from Limestone and, in the true fourth place match, to the No. 12 grappler in the nation from UW-Parkside, both in sudden victory. Peguero now holds Coker's all-time career win record with 64 in his time as a Cobra.
The Navy and Gold wrestling season has come to an end.
