Maund Wins Twice at Super Region II Duals on Day One

BELMONT, N.C.- The Coker wrestling team opened up the Super Region II Duals with matches against No. 4 Ashland and No. 18 Findlay.

Ian Maund highlighted the day with two decisions in his two matches at 174 weight class. Luis Peguero, the No. 4 ranked wrestler in the 197 pound weight class, defeated his Findlay opponent in the first overtime, 2-1.

The Cobras return to action Saturday (Jan. 27) for Day Two of the Super Region II Duals to take on No. t-23 Lake Erie at 9:00 a.m. and Tiffin at 1:00 p.m.
