Other College: Almond transfered to Coker from Germanna Community College.

High School: He was a standout wrestler at Orange County High School. He was a three-time team captain, two-tiem district champion and a state qualifier. He completed his high school career with a record of 158-23.

Personal: Son of Deanna and Roger Almond...he has a sister Ashley.
