Wrestling Announces First Recruiting Class

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College head men's wrestling coach Cy Wainwright has announced his first recruiting class in program history. Ten individuals will be joining the Cobras beginning in the 2013-14 academic year.

The list of recruits is as follows: Trey Arant, Walker Barfield, John Florio, Luke Frame, Mason Hadley, Joseph Holland, Varlee Kelleh, RaSean McArthur, Gavin Perkins and Ellison Sanders.

"I am extremely excited about this initial recruiting class," said Wainwright. "I, along with our staff and faculty, have worked extremely hard to show that Coker College is a great place to be. It is my intention to build a winning wrestling program here, and it begins with this class."

Arant is from Beaufort High School in Beaufort, S.C.

Barfield hails from Lexington High School in Lexington, S.C.

Florio is from Valley Central High School in Montgomery, N.Y.

Frame is from Clay High School in Orange Park, Fla.

Hadley is from Porter Ridge High School in Indian Trail, N.C.

Holland hails from Wade  Hampton High School in Easley, S.C.

Kelleh is from Woodmont High School in Piedmont, S.C.

McArthur is from Tallahassee, Fla., and attends Lincoln High School.

Perkins is from Summerville High School in Summerville, S.C.

Sanders is from Hillcrest High School in Fountain Inn, S.C.
