HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College wrestling program announced the dates for its first summer wrestling camp today. The first ever Coker summer wrestling camp will be held on Friday, July 12, 2013.
Led by head coach Cy Wainwright, the Coker wrestling camp will run from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and will be for wrestlers of all ages and ability levels. Cost of the camp is $50 per wrestler and will include two instructional sessions, a competition session, lunch and a t-shirt.
Wainwright is an accomplished wrester and coach. As a collegiate wrestler, he was an undefeated NCAA Champion and three-time NCAA National Qualifier. He was a two-time NCAA All-American and holds a career record of 128-24. As a coach, he as has coached 16 NCAA National Qualifiers, 10 NCAA All-Americans, two NCAA National Finalists and an NCAA National Champion.
