Last time out the Cobras were on the road at UVA-Wise. UVA-Wise got out to a quick start as they led 3-0 at the end of the 1st period of the match. Olivia Schmidt registered 4 saves this period but the attacking prowess of UVA-Wise was too much in this first period. Going into the second period of this game UVA-Wise kept the pressure up as they had attack after attack. At the end of the 2nd period, Coker did return a blowback to the Cavaliers as Mia Macmillian scored her first goal of the season to make the score 10-1 going into the second half. Going into the 3rd period UVA-Wise snuck two more into the Coker goal making it 12-1. Madeline Fontana returned the favor as she got a goal of her own in the 6th minute of the 3rd period making the score 3-12. The 4th period saw the most successful attacks for the Cobras as Leah Corey and Kate Halcro both found the back of the net. However, this is too little too late as the Cavaliers can out victors in this match with the final score being 18-4.
