Women's Golf Sits in 11th After First Round at the Battle at Old South

BLUFFTON, S.C.- After day one at the Battle at Old South the Coker College women's golf team sits in 11th place, 19 shots off of the lead, with a team score of 311 (+23) through the first round at Old South Golf Links on Saturday (Sept. 23) afternoon. 

Angela Luna led the Cobras into the clubhouse at Old South with a first round 75 to sit tied for 23rd. Ana Orlov and Kelli Smith also broke the top 50, with scores of 76 and 77.

Taylor Mayers and Amber Winburn rounded out the play for Coker on Saturday after rounds of 83 for Mayers and 87 for Winburn.

The final round of the Battle at Old South at Old South Golf Links will begin Sunday (Sept. 24) morning around 8 a.m.
