Cobras Take Home Second Place at Coker Women's Invitational

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker Cobra women's golf team closed out play at the Coker Women's Invitational on Tuesday (March 15) with a second place finish. The Cobras shot a team score of 331 in the final round, taking home a two-round total of 657.

Lincoln Memorial University took home first place honors as a team, while Erskine College's Krysta Schaus earned medalist honors with a two-round total of 156 (+12).

Leading the way for the Cobras was Angela Luna in fourth place overall. Luna signed off on a 79 in her final round. Ana Orlov carded an 85 in her final round and finished in 10th place overall, while Margaret Mills shot an 83 in the last round and finished in 11th place. Bella Harris took home 12th place after a final round of 90.  Taylor Gaskins rounded out the Coker golfers with an 84 in the final round, placing her in 16th.

The Cobras will return to action on Sunday and Monday (March 20-21) at the Wingate Intercollegiate Challenge in Charlotte, N.C.
