HARTSVILE, S.C. – The Coker Cobra women's golf team fired a team score of 326 (+38) in the opening round of the Coker Women's Invitational at the Hartsville Country Club on Monday (March 14). The Cobras are currently in second place after the opening round, 13 shots behind the leader, Lincoln Memorial University, at 313 (+25).
Leading the way for the Cobras is Bella Harris in fourth place. The freshman shot an opening round 79 (+7). Following close behind in fifth place is sophomore Angela Luna with an eight-over-par 80. Freshman Ana Orlov is in ninth place after an opening round 82 (+10) and sophomore Meg Mills is in 12th place with a first round score of 85 (+12). Rounding out the Cobra golfers was Taylor Gaskins in 16th place with an opening round of 90 (+18).
The Cobras will close out the 2016 Coker Women's Invitational on Tuesday (March 15). Tee times begin at 8:30 a.m. at the Hartsville Country Club.
