
Coker Women's Golf To Compete in Lady Bearcat Invitational
Coker will travel to Hilton Head, S.C. to compete in a two day tournament at the Lady Bearcat Invitational this weekend (Sept. 28-29).
HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Coker women's golf team will compete in the Lady Bearcat Invitational this weekend (Sept. 28-29), hosted by Lander University.
Representing Coker in the tournament will be Taylor Demby, Amber Harman, Mallory Thompkins, Krista Thorpe, and Tensley Clowser.
Leading the team will be sophomore Taylor Demby, who shot a two day total of 154 at the Smoky Mountain Intercollegiate earlier this season. Demby's performance earned her a top-20 finish.
Clowser and Thorpe each have a season average of 85.5, followed by Thompkins with an 86.5. This will be Harman's first collegiate tournament appearance.
The tournament will be played over two days, totaling 36 holes. The field consists of 19 teams from around the region. The Cobras will tee of Saturday morning at 8:00 AM.
