CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Cobra women's golf team opened play at the 12^th Annual J. Ralph Hargett Memorial Intercollegiate Women's Golf Tournament on Monday with a team score of 342 (+54). Coker is in 15^th place, while Barry University leads the field, followed by Queens University of Charlotte in second and Carson Newman in third.

Sara Allen (Fort Mill, S.C.) leads the Cobra golfers. She shot an opening round 83, while Caroline Dula (Salisbury, N.C.) and Krista Thorpe (Bracebridge, Ontario) carded scores of 86 each. Mallory Thompkins (Georgetown, S.C.) shot an 87 and Jessi McKenzie (McBee, S.C.) shot 92.

The Cobras will complete the final round of play starting Tuesday morning.
