HIGH POINT, N.C. – The Coker College women's golf team has been selected sixth according to the 2012 Conference Carolinas women's golf preseason poll released on Monday.
Sitting at the top of the poll is Queens University of Charlotte, with Mount Olive College in second and Pfeiffer University in third.
Led by head coach Tommy Baker, the Coker women enter their second year with high hopes for the future. With four freshmen and two sophomores the future looks very bright for these young women. They had a successful fall season with two top 10 finishes and a pair of top 15 finishes.
The Cobras will get their 2012 spring season under way this weekend when they travel to Kiawah Island to play in the Tusculum Invitational.
