Coker Women's Golf Signs Chesterfield's Demby During Early Period

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College women's golf team signed Chesterfield, S.C. native, Taylor Demby, to a National Letter of Intent during the early signing period. Demby will tee it up for the Cobra women starting in the fall of 2012. 

A six-time team MVP, Demby was a 2011 All-Region selection and a seven-time South Carolina Junior Golf Association (SCJGA) All-Star. Currently, she is ranked 10th in the state according to the SCJGA.

In addition to her outstanding accomplishments on the course, Demby is a member of Chesterfield High School's National Beta Club, is an honor student and is ranked in the top 15 of her class. She is also a member of the Shiloh United Methodist Church youth group. 

The Coker women's golf team will begin their spring season on competition on Feb. 3 at the Tusculum Invitational at Kiawah Island.
