VASS, N.C. – After the second round of play at the 2011 Conference Carolinas Women’s Golf Championship, the Coker women remain in seventh place. The Cobras shot a team score of 380 in round two. Belmont Abbey leads the field, with Queens and Pfeiffer in second and third respectively.

Individually for the Cobras, Krista Thorpe (Bracebridge, Ontario) shot a 93 in day two, while Bobbi McKenzie (McBee, S.C.) fired a 98. Natalie Falco (Stoughton, Mass.) came in at 96 and Megan Tingen (Hartsville, S.C.) also finished with a 93.

Coker will tee off for the third and final round on play on Tuesday morning starting at 8:00 a.m. at the Woodlake Resort, Maple Course in Vass, N.C.
