GREENEVILLE, TENN. – The Coker women’s golf team completed their first tournament in school history on Tuesday. The Cobras placed 10th at the 2010 Tusculum Fall Classic with a combined two round total of 699 (+123) on the 5,805 yard, par 72 course. Conference Carolinas rival Belmont Abbey College came away with the victory, with UNC-Pembroke and Lincoln Memorial University coming in second and third respectively.

The Cobras were led by Natalie Falco (Stoughton, Mass.) at +22 (166), while Alexa Clark (Devon, Pa.) and Krista Thorpe (Bracebridge, Ontario) each fired a +31 (175). Bobbi McKenzie (McBee, S.C.) and Megan Tingen (Hartsville, S.C.) rounded out the field for the Cobras with scores of +39 (183) and +53 (197) respectively.

The Coker women will hit the links for their next tournament starting Monday, October 4 at the Lenoir-Rhyne Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate. The Coker men will also be participating in the tournament.
