HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker women's basketball fell in its home game to Anderson 66-49 in South Atlantic Conference action on Wednesday (Dec. 14).
The Cobras by 11 after one quarter and faced a 15-point deficit at the half. After a cold-shooting third quarter, the home team was able to rebound with a strong fourth quarter and hold the Trojans to eight points while scoring 21 as a team.
Kaleah Hires led all Coker scorers with 10 points, while Iresha Cooper added eight. Three Cobras added six points apiece, while outscoring Anderson 13-10 on second chances and 29-27 off the bench.
The Cobras hit the road for their next South Atlantic Conference game when they take on Tusculum on Saturday (Dec. 17). Tip-off is slated for 2:00 p.m.
