HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker women's basketball dropped its last regular season game to visiting Carson-Newman on Saturday (Feb. 27) 76-69.
Three Cobras notched double figures scoring on the afternoon, highlighted by a team-high 16 points from Jazz Green. Fellow senior Kiara Shoats poured in 15 while Kendra Lambert added 13.
The Cobras led 23-20 after one quarter and trailed 36-35 at halftime, after having a lead as big as nine at one point in the frame. Coker would outscore the visitors 16-10 in the third quarter, taking a five point lead to the final frame.
Coker would lead by as many as five in the fourth before Carson-Newman would heat up, outscoring the home team 30-18 in the final quarter.
This game concludes the 2015-16 season.
