Coker set to Host Carson-Newman on Senior Day

HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker women's basketball will host Carson-Newman on Saturday (Feb. 26) for Senior Day. Video and live stats will be available at www.cokercobras.com.

The Cobras last played on Wednesday (Feb. 24) and fell at Newberry 67-60. Jazz Green notched 20 points and pulled in nine rebounds in the contest.

Green is fifth in the conference in points per game, averaging 15.2. She is also third in the conference averaging 9.1 rebounds per game. Kendra Lambert is 12th in the conference in three-point percentage, knocking down 33.5% of her shots from beyond the arc.

The Eagles come into the matchup with a 17-10 overall record and an 11-10 mark in South Atlantic Conference play. The Eagles defeated Coker 88-49 back on Jan. 16. Offensively they are paced by Tatum Burstrom, who averages 13.9 points per game, as well as Kailyn Brooks who averages 13.2.

In addition to Senior Day it is also Make-A-Wish Day. Fans are encouraged to wear blue in support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The Make-A-Wish ceremony will take place before the game while the seniors will be honored at halftime. Tip-off is set for 2:00 p.m. at the DeLoach Center. Tickets for the game are $5 for adults, $3 for students and free to all Coker faculty, staff and students.
