HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker women's basketball team will host King University in a Conference Carolinas competition on Saturday (Jan. 26). Live video broadcast of the game will be available at www.cokercobras.com.
The Cobras (10-7, 6-5) are coming off a tough loss at Pfeiffer, and will be looking to get back on the winning side of the scoreboard as they return home to the Timberlake-Lawton gymnasium. Autumn Lau continues as Coker's leading scorer, averaging more than 17-points per game. Her twin sister Amber Lau is second in the rankings with 14-points per game.
The most recent competition for the Tornado resulted in a 72-52 loss to Limestone College. King is led by Bonnie Durrett who is averaging 11-points per game, along with Brooke Johnson who is averaging nearly nine.
The ball will hit the hardwood starting at 2 p.m., followed by the men's game at 4 p.m.
