Coker Women's Basketball Ready For Crusaders

HARTSVILLE, SC. – The Coker women's basketball team has not lost a Conference Carolinas game since November 17, and will be hoping to keep the streak alive as they host North Greenville on Saturday (Jan. 5).  Live video coverage of the game will be available at www.cokercobras.com.

The Cobras (8-3, 4-1) are coming off of a scrappy 61-49 win over Erskine College.  Priscilla Fenty led the way for Coker by shooting 83-percent (5-of-6) from the floor to tally up 12 points, and also collected 11-rebounds.  Amber Lau scored a team high 15-points, while Angie Lawrence contributed 13-points.

North Greenville is also coming off a win that dates all the way back to December 13, when they defeated Southern Wesleyan University 86-66.  The Crusaders will be seeking their first conference win of the season, as they currently rank ninth (of 12) in the conference with a 0-3 record.

The game will tip-off at 2 p.m. on Saturday, followed by the men's game at 4 p.m.
